TNPSC Group IV Counseling 2025 – Latest Update

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has officially released a press note on 26.09.2025 regarding the Group IV (Phase IV) Counseling.

As per the notification, a total of 3935 candidates were shortlisted for the One-Time Counseling conducted on 25.04.2025. Out of these, 727 candidates did not attend. The list of these absentees has now been published on 26.09.2025 in the Commission’s official website. With this, the total number of candidates who have been called so far for Group IV counseling stands at 4662.

Key Highlights:

• Posts include Junior Assistant, Typist, Steno Typist, Village Administrative Officer, and other Group IV vacancies.

• Candidates from the 2022–2024 recruitment cycle are included.

• So far, 17799 candidates have been provisionally selected, and 3560 candidates have received appointment orders.

• Absentees from earlier counseling sessions will get another chance to attend, as the Commission has announced fresh dates for the next round of counseling.
