The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released an official update regarding the Group IV (Combined Civil Services Examination IV).
As per the latest notification, candidates who were selected as Draftsman and Field Surveyor before the year 2022 through the Group IV Exam have been officially appointed.
From the 2022 recruitment onwards, the posts of Draftsman and Field Surveyor are being filled through the Combined Engineering Subordinate Services Examination, instead of the Group IV exam.
Hence, the vacancies for Draftsman and Field Surveyor announced before 2022 under the Group IV Examination are not included in the 2025 notification.
